I am Susie Stephens, a very experienced Chico real estate broker. As your broker, I will personally help you buy and sell real estate in and near beautiful Chico, CA.
I have been selling real estate in Chico for over 20 years. I spent about 10 years at Century 21 Jeffries Lydon as one of their top Realtors. In 2003 I left that franchise to start my own brokerage.
Since then I have sold over $150,000,000 worth of homes, farms, income properties, commercial real estate, and land. My first sale was a $5,000 mobile home in a senior park. My largest sale was a large college complex that I sold for $4,650,000. I also sold the "Social Security Building" in Chico, twice. With both sales we handled very stringent leasing arrangements with the Federal Government. With such specialty sales you must use more complex financing, contractual and negotiation methods than you do in residential sales. I have 20+ years of varied experience solving many difficult real estate problems. My experience solving problems will help you avoid pitfalls while buying or selling any type of property.
My primary partner in our day-to-day service to you is Susannah Lund. Susannah is a California Attorney, an experienced Real Estate Broker, and my daughter. When you choose me as your Realtor you will work closely with both Susannah and me. Susannah has been a partner in our company since 2003. Her role is to compile contracts and help organize escrows while I handle most of the “people and property” work with showings and negotiations. We will both be here for you. I am available via email, phone, and appointments at our office and Susannah works typically via email. Together we will guide you successfully through your purchase or sale.
There are two more members of our Chico Real Estate Team. Their support is why Susannah and I can take excellent care of your day to day real estate needs. My husband of 30+ years, Darrel Stephens, works behind the scenes on a variety of things that run our business. My son Charlie Stephens, a former BearingPoint consultant, also contributes significantly with a variety of projects to help our business evolve over the long run.
My team has built our informative website and continues to evolve our site and back office systems so we are an efficient and almost completely paperless organization.
